All-Staff Training: Empathy – Connecting with Colleagues and Customers

While a lot of the workplace learning you do is specific to your job, throughout the year trainings are scheduled that are for all staff. The all-staff training schedule for 2022 started with Staff Day in February. In April, everyone completed a Ryan Dowd training and in May, everyone completed a KnowBe4 security awareness training on social engineering.

Yesterday, everyone was enrolled in an all-staff training called, “Empathy: Connecting with Colleagues and Customers.” It should take between 35 and 45 minutes to complete. The schedule for the remaining 2022 all staff training is available.

We’re starting to build the 2023 training calendar and we also provide lots of training beyond the required all staff trainings, so if you have ideas, requests, or suggestions for training topics, please let us know by emailing staff-training@tscpl.org.

Having trouble accessing or completing the Empathy course? Here are a few tips.

Tip #1: You may need to use the buttons in the lower left of the course (especially “Play” and “Move Forward”).
Tip #2: After you watch one of the videos, you may need to click “Resume the last incomplete attempt” to continue the course.
Tip #3: If you’re having trouble getting the course to work, please reach out to Kate Hughes or Brenda Hough in Staff Training and we can help troubleshoot!
