Topeka Room Open for Drop-In Visits Starting Monday, June 21

In an effort to continue expanding our services, the Topeka Room will be open for drop-in visitors starting Monday, June 21. Customers will no longer be signing up for appointments to use the space.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Topeka Room will be open all the hours the library is open
  • We may take appointments for in-depth research help in the future
  • We’re limiting the number of people in each space to the following (not including staff)*:
    Topeka Room – 4 people
    Computer Room – 2 people
Baker Genealogy Room – 2 people
  • The computers in the “Tech Chapel” will be available for local history and genealogy use only and will not have a time limit (same as the Before Times)
  • At this time there is no other public computer available in the space
  • The second microfilm machine will remain in the Baker Genealogy Room at this time to aid in social distancing for customers
  • We are not quarantining materials after use
