TALK Book Discussion: Spring 2020

Hello All,

It’s time for a new series of TALK Book Discussion!

Meeting dates: 3rd Wednesday/Month Time: 7-8:30pm

Location: Menninger Room, Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library

Contact: Miranda Ericsson | | 785-580-4476

Books for this discussion generally come from the Northwest Kansas Library System, and have a barcode that indicates that. Folks will be asked to check them in and out in the Topeka Room.

Checkout Directions

We will continue to sign out on paper, rather than returning to the spreadsheet. I have a spreadsheet that will match copy numbers to barcodes, but you don’t need to mess with it!

Copy numbers are on the spines of the books. A sign out sheet for each book is in the binder next to the books in the Topeka Room, above the gen 1 & 2 computers. If customers need help, please show them how to find the copy number on the spine, and then fill out the sheet with their name and email (or phone, if no email). No library cards are needed to check out these books. Easy peasy.

Bookmobile and Red Carpet folks, if a customer asks about this series or these books, I’m glad to send copies out for them!

If you are given one of these titles at a service point or bookmobile, or if one comes through the book drop please send them directly to me.

If a book is returned to the Topeka Room, please make a check in the returned column on the page, and just put it back on the shelf.

I did not number the copy column on the page, you’ll add them by hand, so if someone returns a copy, someone else can sign it out without having to write over that line, they’ll just write in a new line.

Let me know if you have any questions! Thank you for helping our readers connect with their books.
