Meeting Rooms are open

The library is offering limited use of public meeting rooms on the second floor – the Menninger, Hughes, Perkins and Anton Rooms. Customers should be directed here for room reservations and catering requests. Bonnie is working from home and checks her voice mail and email ( | 580-4495) regularly if there is something you cannot answer.

To maintain a safe environment following the Shawnee County Health Department’s COVID-19 guidelines we require a 50% capacity (or less) of the room and 6-ft distancing between meeting attendees. Meeting room attendees will be required to wear a mask. The rooms are set-up at capacity and you can see the new layouts and the capacity diagrams here. The assets of the room (internet access, presentation needs, phone lines, etc.)can be requested using the Communico system.

  • Menninger Room 205 and Anton Room 202 will accommodate up to 6 people
  • Hughes Room 206 and Perkins Room 201 will accommodate up to 5 people

NOTE: There are no time restrictions (examples would be an all morning/all afternoon/all-day meeting) for those attending a meeting. If there is catering, they may remove their masks while eating. If you observe people not following the guidelines, please send Bonnie an email with the name of the group and the issue. Starting Monday, July 20, limited use of Marvin Auditorium Rooms B and C will also be available. Attendees will also adhere to the mask requirement, 50% capacity of the room and 6-ft distancing between meeting attendees.
