Meteorite Hunt
Search your backyard or a local park to find a meteorite! Meteorites are black, or rusty brown depending on how long ago they fell to earth. Meteorites feel heavy for their size and are non-porous (meaning they don’t have a lot of holes). See if you can find a meteorite with these qualities. Bring your findings to the library and we will test them to see if it could be a real meteorite! We will have real meteorites to compare results.
