The rotunda floor tiling project has progressed to the point where the interior book return will be unavailable for three days beginning on Wednesday morning. Three days will be required to tile the area around the drop and to allow that newly laid tile to cure properly. The book return is scheduled to reopen by the time the library opens for business on Saturday morning.
During the time the book drop is unavailable to customers a staff person will be stationed in the rotunda area to direct customers to the Customer Service Desk so that items may be returned there. Communications and Marketing will create signage to convey the message too. Circulation will do its best to get things checked-in, especially those materials with check-out limits such as DVDs and Express items, as quickly as possible so as to minimize any inconvenience for customers.
